How do I buy crypto with Google Pay?
Google Pay lets you make secure, contactless payments using your Android device and linked cards. You can now buy crypto instantly on OKX using Google Pay via the app or web.
This feature is available to SG residents who have completed account verification and linked a Visa or Mastercard debit card in their legal name as registered with OKX.
Google Pay is not supported on iOS devices at this time.

How do I buy crypto with Google Pay?
On the app
Before you begin, ensure you've added a SG issued Visa or Mastercard debit card to your Google Wallet. This step is required for Google Pay to be used as a payment option.
Log in to your account on OKX app, go to Buy Crypto
Select > under Pay with

Preview your purchase and submit it by selecting Buy

1. How do I add my card to Google Pay?
You can refer to the instructions in the official Google Pay support documentation here to add your Visa or Mastercard to Google Wallet.
2. Why am I unable to use Google Pay to purchase crypto?
You might not see Google Pay as an option if you haven’t added a valid Visa or Mastercard debit card to your Google Wallet yet, if you’re using an unsupported device, or if your OKX account hasn’t been fully verified.
3. What payment methods can I use with Google Pay?
You can use a US-issued Visa or Mastercard debit card.
Note: card issuers may decline certain transactions at their discretion.
4. Can I withdraw funds directly to Google Pay or other digital wallets?
No, withdrawals to digital wallets like Apple Pay or Google Pay aren't supported. You can withdraw funds to your linked bank account instead.
5. Why am I unable to withdraw crypto purchased using Google Pay?
While you're able to use Google Pay to complete a trade instantly, for your protection, there may be a withdrawal hold on your funds.
6. My Google Pay transaction was declined, but I still see money deducted. When will I get my refund?
For declined transactions, your bank may place a temporary hold on the amount when the payment attempt is made. These funds are usually released automatically within a few days, depending on your bank’s processing time. If the hold hasn’t been released after a week, we recommend reaching out to your bank for further assistance.
