ChainCatcher 消息，据 PeckShield 监测，5 月加密领域共发生 40 起重大黑客攻击事件，总损失约 8170 万美元，较 4 月的 6.47 亿美元环比下降 87.4%。其中跨链协议仍是主要攻击目标，8 起重大跨链攻击造成 3328 万美元损失，占当月总损失的 41%。
损失较大的事件包括 SUPERFORTUNE AI（约 1518 万美元）、Verus-Ethereum Bridge（约 1158 万美元，已退还）、THORChain（约 1000 万美元）等。
